Runnymede Rockets is a positive environment for young riders. We ask all parents and spectators to support these values.
BMX is a sport for the riders. Parents and spectators play an important role in creating the positive, encouraging atmosphere that helps every rider — not just their own — thrive.
Encourage your child positively — avoid placing pressure on them to win or perform beyond their enjoyment level.
Respect coaches, officials, and other club volunteers. Their decisions are final during sessions and races.
Never shout negative comments at any rider, official, or coach — including your own child.
Stay in spectator areas during sessions. Do not enter the track or coaching areas unless invited.
Set a positive example for all young riders watching.
Report any safeguarding concerns immediately to a coach or welfare officer — do not wait.
Follow any photography and social media guidelines issued by the club.
Ensure your child arrives on time, properly equipped, and collected promptly after sessions.
Breaches of Conduct
Repeated or serious breaches of this code may result in the parent or spectator being asked to leave the facility, or their child's membership being reviewed by the club committee.
